Lake Security

Our honorary Security team member and mascot, he is always on duty!

Lake Security:

The Reflection Lake Security Committee is chaired by: Gary Long and consists of member volunteers, who are primarily concerned with maintaining our “Private Lake” for the exclusive use of our members and authorized guests. Our efforts are focused on preventing fish poaching and non-association persons from using and abusing lake waters and property. Patrol volunteers are not law enforcement, they are there to help protect the assets you pay for with your annual dues. The Lake Patrol has been around since the 1980s. Join us and meet your fellow members and get to know the lake close up. Did you know Reflection Lake consists of a 55 acre lake, a large greenbelt, a north dam & south dam, 190+ lots, Frontage road, Lake road, Ponds road, Upper Sheets road & Lower Sheets road, Lakeside Drive, Four Access lots and our Community center. We can always use more volunteers! Please contact us to sign up or for more information.

Patrol Duties:

  • Inform and enforce Safety Rules for boaters with children on board (a life vest is required).
  • Enforce rules set by the Conservation Committee on fishing and fishing limits.
  • Identify unauthorized lake users.
  • Check Lake Passes for current date.
  • Be courteous, we are not law enforcement, we use an incident report when necessary.
