The long-awaited legal decision on the Banner Bank court case has
been made. The 2020 elected Board of Directors won the case and
the appointed board has no standing.
For those new members an explanation is in order. On our webpage

the appeal that has cost this community excessive time and money.
A very brief history of the Lawsuits brought in October and November
of 2020.
- September 2020, a new Board of Directors was voted into office.
- September 2020, The old board refused to step down.
- October 2020, The old Board directed Banner Bank not to recognize
the elected board and refused to turn over the operating funds.
- November 0f 2020, The old board; Mr. Lee, Mr. Powers, Mr. Kimball,
Mr. Bishop and Ms. Emery filed suit to put the affairs of the RLCA intoreceivership.
The complaint of 11/18/2020 (receivership) has been amended and is still
active. Hopefully with new people and new goals set for the future of this
great little recreational lake, this lawsuit can be resolved soon.
